Privacy

This site has no accounts, no logins and no database of visitors. It is a set of static pages served from a CDN. What follows is the specific list of what gets stored and what leaves your browser — written the same way as everything else here, which is to say it describes what the code does rather than what a template says it might.

What we collect: nothing, directly

There is no sign-up, no contact form, no newsletter and no comment field. We do not ask for your name or email, and we have no server of our own that could store them if we did. If you email tips@wardogs.tips we obviously have your email address, because you sent it to us — it is used to reply to you and nothing else.

What stays in your browser

Several pages remember things using localStorage. This is storage on your own device. It is never transmitted to us or to anyone else, we cannot read it, and clearing your browser data removes it.

• The loadout builder keeps item footprints you enter in the contributor panel, so your measurements survive a reload.
• The compare drawer keeps the weapons you have added to it.
• Weapon pages keep small display preferences.
• Notices remember that you dismissed them, so they stay dismissed.

A loadout you share is encoded in the URL itself, not stored anywhere. The link contains the loadout; we never see that you made it.

What your browser requests from third parties

Loading any page causes your browser to make requests to the companies below. Each one necessarily sees your IP address and user-agent, because that is how an HTTP request works.

• Cloudflare hosts the site (Cloudflare Pages) and serves every page. Cloudflare keeps standard server logs. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
• Google Fonts serves the two typefaces the site uses, from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. Google states it does not use font requests to build advertising profiles, but the request is still made and your IP is still visible to it.
• Steam is not contacted by your browser. Pricing and news are fetched at build time by our own scripts and baked into the page as plain text, so visiting this site does not tell Valve anything.

Advertising

The site currently serves no ads and loads no advertising code at all — the ad system is env-gated at build time and switched off, so none of it reaches your browser. If that changes, this section will describe the ad network, the cookies it sets and how to opt out, and the change will be visible in this page's commit history before any ad is served.

When ads do begin, the network will be Google AdSense, and visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland will first see a consent message from Google's IAB-certified consent management platform. It is already configured and offers Consent, Do not consent and Manage options at equal weight, so refusing is one click rather than a trip through a settings screen. Nothing is loaded and no message is shown until ads are switched on.

Analytics

There is no analytics script running on this site today. If one is added it will be Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not fingerprint visitors, and this section will say so with the date it started.

Children

This is a fan site about a video game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect anything from anyone, which includes them.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and similar laws you have rights of access, correction and erasure over personal data a site holds about you. We hold none, so there is nothing for us to produce or delete — the honest answer to a request would be an empty one. Data held by the third parties above is subject to their own policies, linked in each case. For anything else, email tips@wardogs.tips.

Changes

This page is versioned in the same git repository as the site, so every change to it is dated and attributable. Last substantive update: 19 August 2026.
